MEET THE ARTISAN: NORA
Nora, the newest photography trainee at Starfish Project, is rediscovering her love for creativity through her work. As a child, she would sketch gowns and dolls with a rock on the walls of her home—never imagining she could build a career doing something she loves.
“Laying out a photo is like drawing with necklaces and bracelets,” Nora shares. “My photos are a work of love.”

Coming from a poor background, she never had the opportunity to study, but now she’s thriving. Her mentor often tells her, “Nora, you have a photography gift from heaven.” She’s grateful for the chance to develop her skills—and to help create opportunities for other women like her.
