We are currently shipping our April Bracelet of the Month, created by the talented artisans at Jimani.
Jimani Collections aims to design and create products that are as beautiful as they are meaningful. They work with women in Kenya who have experienced a harsh reality that few can imagine. They offer those women employment and education within product design and product creation in order to bring their skills and stories to light and create a better life from them and their families. In addition to providing full-time employment, they also foster artisan partnerships and offer entrepreneurship classes, equipping disadvantaged women with the skills and opportunities needed to build sustainable livelihoods.
This order provided 55 hours of work for five women. It contributed to the ladies' ability to pay school fees, rent, and provide food to their families.
