Opportunities to support
Rehema House
Rehema House exists to provide a safe and loving home to teen girls who have become pregnant through trafficking or abuse in Nairobi, Kenya.
Give to Rehema House
Maureen Kaderi and Kristen Welch co-founded Rehema House in 2010, “Rehema” is the Swahili word for mercy.
Their dream was to rescue pregnant teen girls out of desperate situations in Nairobi, Kenya, and provide them with a safe and loving shelter, opportunities, and the hope of the gospel. Today, Rehema House consists of 3 maternity homes and has welcomed over 80 miracle babies.
Motherhood is a gift from God and at Mercy House Global, we celebrate every baby and new mother born, even in the most difficult of circumstances. Mentorship is an investment in people; it’s a chance to journey with someone. When you join this unique monthly program, you will have an opportunity to speak encouragement into the lives of young women as they begin their journey of motherhood. Become a mentor today.
Your sponsorship helps provide education (school fees, uniforms, books, etc.) for the graduates who are transitioning from Rehema’s residential facility back to their homes, supported by their families. Your sponsorship allows Mercy House Global to care for the welfare of each mother and child. The sponsorship is a beautiful way to help a teen mom help herself and her child.
Rehema House is an indigenous work, co-founded and led by Maureen Kaderi and her husband, Oliver, and supported by Mercy House Global.
