Local Hope focuses on supporting women in Houston, TX. who are coming out of a life of oppression and are in a vulnerable situation. We provide a safe place for women to re-enter the workforce and obtain the training and skills needed to meet future goals. Through our ministry partners, quarterly empowerment lunches and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, we identify women who would benefit from job and skills training. Women in our Artisan Training Program are paid a fair and livable wage for the products they make. The items are sold in the Mercy House Global Marketplace and MHG Clubs to help continue the cycle of empowerment.

- How to use: Fill tub and stir in approximately two tablespoons of bath soak until it dissolves. For external use only. Avoid eyes and do not use with irritated or broken skin.
