International Women's Day
This International Women’s Day, your gift can help create a sanctuary for a woman’s future. At Mercy House Global, sanctuary is more than shelter. It’s a safe, life-giving space where women can heal, grow, and step into new possibilities. Education is one of the strongest foundations of that sanctuary, opening doors that poverty and inequality try to keep closed.
On March 8, 2026, Mercy House Global is working to raise $90,000 to expand educational and vocational opportunities for vulnerable women in both our global and local programs. From teen mothers in Kenya to refugees and survivors in the United States, access to learning equips women with skills, confidence, and the power to transform not only their own lives, but the lives of their families and communities.
Your support helps provide:
- • In-home tutoring and school fees for teen mothers in Kenya
- • College tuition and vocational training in areas like tailoring, catering, and cosmetology
- • ESOL classes for refugee women and children in the USA
- • Workforce development, professional skills training, and empowerment programs
