ABOUT THE ARTISAN

Hon's Honey is a workforce development program of a larger nonprofit, The Well.

The Well is a mentorship and life skills program offering trauma therapy, housing assistance, help with obtaining a car, workshops, scholarships, benevolence funds, and much more. Once women are far enough along in the program, they become eligible to work at Hon's Honey, where they learn to bottle honey and handcraft all-natural home and body goods.

All products are made by women survivors, and 100% of the proceeds go back into the organization to prepare for the next woman to walk through their doors.

This order for MHG created approximately 35 hours of employment for seven women.
