ABKA, a women-owned and managed brand based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is redefining ethical craftsmanship. With eighty percent of its employees being women, ABKA not only produces exceptional leather goods but also invests in the next generation. A portion of every sale funds scholarships for girls in the rural village of Dessie, covering school fees, meals, and housing. These students later have the opportunity to intern at ABKA’s workshop—learning design, craftsmanship, and confidence for the future.
