ABOUT THE ARTISAN

Rahab’s Rope empowers women and children affected by or at risk of human trafficking. One hundred percent of profits support prevention, intervention, and aftercare efforts. Partnering with artisan groups across South Asia, Rahab’s Rope provides training in traditional crafts, helping people who would not otherwise have this opportunity with secure stable incomes and build sustainable futures.

For a month, nine artisans worked on block printing and stitching these stunning jewelry rolls for The Grace Case.

MEET THE ARTISAN: MARTHA

After being trafficked as a littler girl, Martha was rescued by the police when she was fifteen years old and placed in an aftercare‬ facility where Rahab’s Rope met her. Now 23 years old, Martha began coming to the artisan group’s stitching center. After learning her needs, they were able to employ her with stitching work. Martha now thanks and praises God for her a joyful life. She is equipped with the skills and education she needs‬ and empowered with Jesus.
