Delight | Curated Box
"Delight yourself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4
The world promises to satisfy us with its physical pleasures, vanity, pride, wealth, and a guarantee to satiate every desire. But the key to contentment isn’t delighting in all we desire. Often, the more we get, the less we have.
Instead, true delight is found in God.
He is our reward.
Psalm 16:11 says, “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy, at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
This is a promise we can stand on: God’s way is better than ours. True delight is in His presence—being with Him. This is where we find long-lasting joy. This is the secret to pleasure that isn’t fleeting: God’s presence. What's in the box?

ABOUT THE ARTISANS
Noah's Ark
Noah’s Ark was established in 1986 with the sole objective of supporting artisans' welfare and education in Moradabad, India. They aid artisans through fair trade practices and provide training in the production of quality products for overseas markets. Noah’s Ark uplifts the downtrodden of society, using their profits to invest back in their community through numerous social projects related to education, health, water, and sanitation.
Hon's Honey
Hon's Honey is a workforce development program of a larger nonprofit, The Well.
The Well is a mentorship and life skills program offering trauma therapy, housing assistance, help with obtaining a car, workshops, scholarships, benevolence funds, and much more. Once women are far enough along in the program, they become eligible to work at Hon's Honey, where they learn to bottle honey and handcraft all-natural home and body goods.
All products are made by women survivors, and 100% of the proceeds go back into the organization to prepare for the next woman to walk through their doors.
This order for MHG created approximately 35 hours of employment for seven women.
Street Hope
Street Hope began as a group of women from Mathare slum who had lived on the street for their entire lives. After working with Mercy House Global to learn the art of hand-stitching, the women of Street Hope are growing in their skills and confidence, providing food and education for their children, learning to read, overcoming addiction, and moving into their own homes.
