Each delicate stitch of the Bloom Hand-embroidered Pennant reflects the resilience of the women who created it—survivors building new futures through dignified work. Street Hope provides a safe space for women to heal, learn, and support themselves through skilled embroidery and craftsmanship.

Tucked inside the pennant’s pocket, you’ll find three artisan cards, each featuring one of the women who helped create these pennants. These cards serve as a personal connection to the artisans, allowing you to put a face and name to their craft. We encourage you to pray for these women whenever you see their cards, lifting them up on their journey toward healing and restoration.

ABOUT THE ARTISAN

Street Hope began as a group of women from Mathare slum who had lived on the street for their entire lives. After working with Mercy House Global to learn the art of hand-stitching, the women of Street Hope are growing in their skills and confidence, providing food and education for their children, learning to read, overcoming addiction, and moving into their own homes.
