Local Hope is an artisan group from Houston, Texas, made up of vulnerable women, including refugees and survivors of human trafficking. Supported by Mercy House Global, these women receive skills training and employment opportunities that empower them to rebuild their lives with dignity. Through their work, they create products that bring beauty and purpose into homes around the world.
In addition to creating meaningful employment, Mercy House Global supports the local community through programs such as ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) classes and empowerment luncheons. These initiatives provide education, community, and practical skills, helping individuals grow in confidence and thrive in every area of life.
