This leather balm is made of all-natural ingredients and will shine up your shoes, or preserve and condition any leather item you own. Perfect for reconditioning leather bags, wallets, etc.
DETAILS
- Created by Local Hope, a group of artisans who are refugees resettled in the USA
- 1 oz.
- Ingredients: Beeswax, Shea Butter, Grape Seed Oil
- To use: Wipe on the leather using a soft cloth like a t-shirt. Then, buff with a clean cloth. Let dry. Do this three times. This will condition and waterproof the leather.
Mercy House Global is located just outside Houston, Texas, a city of more than 70,000 refugees, one of the largest populations in the USA. MHG employs about ten women who have resettled in Houston. This group of artisans called Local Hope creates candles, spa products, and home decor for the MHG fair trade line. In addition to job creation, MHG provides programs to support the local refugee community, including ESPOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) and empowerment luncheons that offer fellowship and skills training.

I love the smell of this leather balm. I’ve used it on my leather purses, and my husband has used it on his leather shoes. I love that I’m supporting an artisan and what MHG does when I buy this product!

Expensive for the small amount in the tin. It will only be enough for a few uses.
