Crafted from the pages of old hymnals, this garland strings together the very songs that have carried generations through seasons of waiting and wonder. Each bead is rolled by hand from recycled hymnal paper by Vi Bella artisans in Pignon, Haiti—sealed, strung, and finished with generous tassels.

ABOUT THE ARTISAN
Vi Bella is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities in Haiti to break free from extreme poverty through dignified, sustainable employment. Their name means Beautiful Life, and that is the heart behind everything they create—opportunity, stability, and hope woven into every product.
As a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation, Vi Bella employs more than fifty artisans across two centers in Haiti, providing safe workplaces, reliable income, and pathways to long-term flourishing. More than half of their Port-au-Prince team includes artisans with disabilities—individuals for whom stable employment is often nearly impossible to find. Vi Bella’s model ensures that every artisan is valued, supported, and equipped to thrive.
Beyond employment, Vi Bella invests deeply in the well-being of each artisan and their family. School scholarships, medical assistance, and housing support help strengthen the foundation of a more secure and hopeful future. What began with jewelry has expanded to sewn goods and traditional Haitian and Mexican homewares—each piece reflecting skill, cultural artistry, and the dignity of meaningful work.
