In Moradabad, India, handicrafts provide livelihoods for a significant portion of the community, yet artisans have historically faced low wages, costly materials, and financial uncertainty. Traditional skills passed from one generation to the next can be difficult to sustain when artisans are unable to earn enough from their craft.

After witnessing these challenges, Samuel Masih founded Noah's Ark International Exports in 1986 to create a more equitable path forward. For more than thirty years, Noah's Ark has supported artisans and their families through fair wages, long-term business partnerships, and health and education initiatives while helping preserve India's rich tradition of handcrafted goods.

Local Hope also serves refugees and overcomers of human trafficking through programs that encourage connection, growth, and empowerment. ESOL classes help refugees strengthen their English skills, while Women's Empowerment Luncheons provide both communities with opportunities for fellowship, practical learning, and skills training. Together, these programs create welcoming spaces where women can build relationships and move toward brighter futures.
