How to Reshape Your Palm Leaf Hat
Your palm leaf hat was rolled for shipping to protect it and reduce packaging waste. Because palm leaf is naturally durable and water-tolerant, it can easily be reshaped once it arrives.
To reshape your hat:
Thoroughly wet the hat with water. You can run it under a faucet, spray it with a hose, or briefly submerge it in water.
Gently unroll the hat and shape the crown with your hands, smoothing out any creases. Flatten and shape the brim as desired.
Allow the hat to air dry on a clean, flat surface away from direct sunlight.
As the hat dries, it will hold the shape you create. If needed, a stubborn crease can be removed by placing a damp cloth over the area and pressing gently with an iron on low to medium heat.
Storage Tips
Store your hat flat or hang it on a wide hook to help maintain its shape.
