It’s a season of transition in Kenya at Rehema House.
Some girls are returning home with their children (or to a safe relative) after their two year stay. They are excited and nervous to return to school. Others are staying longer, but transitioning to a vocational school.
Some girls are coming home-back to Rehema during their school and holiday breaks.
The door is always open.
There are also empty beds being filled with new pregnant girls.
This month, we’ve brought in our 27th and 28th pregant teens. One, a 15 year old girl who just hours before her rescue was nearly killed by a raging relative.
The work is hard and the road is long. There are beautiful victories and defeating setbacks. But there is always hope.
Please continue to pray for the staff, residents, new moms and their children. And for those precious pregant teens filling empty beds.
